In his own words
The table below says what his one sermon covers. This is what it sounded like.
God has painted the history of the world in the rich colors of prophecy, and mankind, under Divine Providence has sculptured its fulfillment in the marble of history. The two records are before us, and I am ashamed of the intelligence of the nineteenth century when I think that scientific men, and learned people can be induced to impute to those holy servants of God other motives than the advancement of God's purposes in the earth.

What the sermon covers
Indexed subjects, in order of how often they appear: Judgment, Worship of God, Salt Water, Light, Creation, Mint, John the Apostle, Materialism, Prophecy, Fountains of Water, Carbon Dioxide, Isle of Patmos.
Where it sits
Volume 20 (1880) holds 48 sermons by 16 speakers, of which 1 is his. John Taylor carries that volume with 16.
The Journal is overwhelmingly the work of a dozen men. The speakers who appear once or twice are the reason the series is worth indexing in full: they are printed at the same length and with the same care as the presidencies, and almost nowhere else.
Every sermon, in order
The complete list as the Journal prints it. Titles are the printed titles, which routinely name four or five unrelated subjects in one line — each one links to the discourse itself at journalofdiscourses.com.
